📍NEW YORK — Scoot Henderson isn't quite ready to make his season debut yet, but the wait won't be much longer.

Henderson suffered a torn left hamstring in a pickup run at the Trail Blazers' practice facility the week before training camp started in late September. What was originally called a four-to-eight-week absence has stretched out nearly to the All-Star break, with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2023 draft missing the first 48 games and counting of what was supposed to be a pivotal third season for him.

Now, he finally appears to be on the verge of playing soon.
