A month before the start of training camp, and two months before the start of the regular season, the Trail Blazers have already lost one of their most important backcourt contributors for what could be a large majority of the 2026-27 season.
Shaedon Sharpe suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee during a recent personal workout, a league source confirmed. An exact timeline for his recovery won't be determined until after he undergoes surgery, which is expected to happen in the coming days. ESPN, which first reported news of the injury, also reported Sharpe is expected to miss six months.
