Trail Blazers Announce 2023 Preseason Schedule
Portland will play four exhibition games the week of Oct. 10.
The announcement of the NBA’s 2023-24 regular-season schedule is still roughly a month away, usually taking place in mid-August. But on Friday, the Trail Blazers announced their four-game preseason schedule, which will take place over the week of Oct. 10. It is as follows:
October 10 vs. New Zealand Breakers, 7 p.m. PT (Moda Center)
October 12 vs. Phoenix Suns, 7 p.m. PT (Moda Center)
October 14 at Utah Jazz, 6 p.m. PT (Delta Center)
October 16 at Phoenix Suns, 6 p.m. PT (Footprint Center)
The opening game against the New Zealand Breakers of the NBL will be a reunion game for Rayan Rupert, the Blazers’ No. 43 overall pick in June’s draft, who played the 2022-23 season for the club.
It remains to be seen whether Damian Lillard will still be on the Blazers’ roster when these games take place, but they will be the first opportunity for fans in Portland to see No. 3 overall pick Scoot Henderson in action.
