The Trail Blazers agreed to sign guard Chris Youngblood to fill their open two-way spot, a league source confirmed. ESPN first reported the news.
Youngblood played five seasons in college at Kennesaw State, South Florida and Alabama before going undrafted this year and signing a two-way contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He appeared in 32 games for the Thunder and 10 games for the Oklahoma City Blue. In the G League, he averaged 23.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals in 34.8 minutes per game.
The Blazers converted Sidy Cissoko from a two-way to a standard NBA contract last month; they've had one of their three two-way spots open since then. Youngblood will fill that spot, joining Caleb Love and Javonte Cooke on two-ways.
Cooke has been with the Blazers on their current road trip, although playing sparingly. Love is currently with the Rip City Remix as the Blazers look to preserve his five remaining games of NBA eligibility. Youngblood likely won't play much with the Blazers the rest of the season, either, given the crowded guard room.
