The Sunday Wrap, Feb. 1: Trail Blazers Sliding as the Trade Deadline Approaches

The Trail Blazers are back home from their three-game east coast road trip, and they're in rough shape.

They've lost four games in a row, including one to the tanking Wizards and a blowout to the Knicks. Deni Avdija is clearly not right physically as his back continues to bother him. They come home now for a five-game homestand starting tonight against the Cavaliers.

The good news: Blake Wesley, who has been out for three months with a broken foot, has been upgraded to "questionable" for tonight's game. Scoot Henderson's season debut isn't far behind.

Apologies for not doing this column last week due to travel issues. But we're back, less than a week before the trade deadline.

Last week

❌ Monday: at Boston Celtics (L, 102-94)
❌ Tuesday: at Washington Wizards (L, 115-111)
❌ Friday: at New York Knicks (L, 127-97)
