Trail Blazers Set to Ask State of Oregon for Funding for Major Moda Center Renovations: What it Means
The proposal is set to go before the state legislature at next month's budget session.
Williams previously played for the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League.
The Trail Blazers are making another roster move as the season winds down, waiving guard Ryan Arcidiacono and signing guard Jeenathan Williams of the G League's Salt Lake City Stars, the team announced on Saturday morning.
Williams went undrafted last summer out of Buffalo and played for the Jazz in Summer League before joining the Salt Lake City Stars in training camp. He played 32 games and averaged 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, shooting 59.3 percent on two-pointers and 42 percent on three-pointers.
Arcidiacono came over to Portland from the Knicks as part of the Josh Hart trade at February's deadline. He appeared in nine games for the Blazers, including four starts, and sat out both of the last two losses to Sacramento with a back injury.
