How do the blazers avoid the fate of the pistons? When and how can a front office or ownership group decide to blow up the rebuild and “rebuild” with new players? Is this even possible?

Congratulations Sean, very well deserved! How about a non trade related question. I’m curious who have been your top 3 players to cover during your career.

Congrats on your award!

Many fans including me want the team to have a new owner. However, do you seriously think someone new would have a positive impact on the product on the court?

Congratulations! You’re my go to sports writer for the Blazers. My question isn’t necessarily Blazer related or NBA. But I was wondering if you have heard anything if there is any noise about salvaging Portland’s WNBA bid?

Sean, congrats on the award! I really appreciate the quality of your work, your writing is massively clearer and more well thought out than most NBA content 😀

Does Jabari Walker have a Bobby Portis type of ceiling with the hustle he has shown recently. Shooting can inprove over time (Brooke Lopez comes to mind) and his hustle and defensive instincts seem to have raised his ceiling a bit this year.

Him playing that role assumes we have LOTS more shooters.

With this year's draft class looking...underwhelming from a "baked in talent on day 1" perspective, have the blazers said anything about trading 1 of their frp's?

Congrats on the award and well deserved!

Do you have any insight on the expected timeline for this rebuild? How many seasons does management think it will take before the team is once again competitive?

Congrats, Sean. Ever since you started the Rose Garden Report it's been a breath of fresh air. Your writing is top notch and I really enjoy the context you provide on the players (Badji!) as well as on the business side of things (Remix/WNBA). I'm excited to see the return of the podcast, you always bring in interesting guests when it really matters. Congratulations again and cheers to a productive and successful 2024!

Sean, you recently did a great story on he success so far of the Rip City Remix in terms of development for young players. It was good to hear from the front office and the coaches that they're already seeing a positive yield. I'm curious, is the organization feeling like it's been a success from the business side as well? Launching the franchise from scratch in such a short amount of time was impressive but I would be curious to know if the organization is feeling high or low in regards to attendance, merchandise, general fan enjoyment, etc compared to the expectations they had going into the launch.

Congratulations. I get your decision to leave Billups job status out of the mailbag but I do think it can be productive to talk about what the fans think about him as a coach. What he does well and where he could improve. I hate how quickly people want other people to lose their jobs. I think it is critical to have the right guy leading these young players right now. Development is what this season is about not wins and losses. Still you want to develop winning players not super talented players in a losing culture. How do you balance that out and how do you accomplish the developmental goals for your young nucleus without all the losses creating a losing culture. That can’t be an easy thing to do as a coach. Sorry for pushing it on the No Billups mailbag directive. Thanks for your great coverage

It's not easy starting something new on your own. Great work and much deserved accolades. Keep up the good quality and it will continue to grow.

I noticed Duop has had an arm wrap with "A. R." hand written in Sharpe. Any idea what the meaning is behind that?

Congrats Sean! We regularly hear reporters talk about the way the league *really* works fairly often, and it seems reasonable that the league has it's own internal conventional wisdom. What of that has drastically changed in your 10+ years covering the NBA?
