The Trail Blazers have gotten their first and, so far, only postseason individual accolade for last season, as the NBA announced that Donovan Clingan was voted second team All-Rookie.
Six voters put Clingan on the first team, and 61 put him on second team, for a total of 73 voting points.
Clingan, the No. 7 overall pick in last year's draft, had a solid rookie season, starting 37 games for the Blazers and proving impactful right away as a defender and rim protector.
Here are the full teams:
All-Rookie First Team:
- Stephon Castle (San Antonio Spurs)
- Zach Edey (Memphis Grizzlies)
- Zaccharie Risacher (Atlanta Hawks)
- Alexandre Sarr (Washington Wizards)
- Jaylen Wells (Memphis Grizzlies)
All-Rookie Second Team:
- Matas Buzelis (Chicago Bulls)
- Bub Carrington (Washington Wizards)
- Donovan Clingan (Portland Trail Blazers)
- Yves Missi (New Orleans Pelicans)
- Kel'el Ware (Miami Heat)
The NBA is expected to announce its All-Defensive teams in the near future, and there is a solid chance Toumani Camara will be at least on the bubble of making one of the teams.
