Thanks Sean. I really enjoy your coverage and how you involve the fans. I too am highest on Sharpe and was most disappointed by his long absence. All the Scoot being a bust talk is ridiculous. That kid has all the tools to be a very special player in the league. He’s a physical specimen for one. You don’t see many 19yr olds that match up with vets from a strength standpoint but his demeanor is even more impressive. I never wanted a full on rebuild because I know how painful they are but it is what it is and I think the front office has done a good job finding young promising talent. The obvious guys are Sharpe and Scoot but they have also found promising players from the 2nd round in Walker, Toumani, Banton and Rupert. I really wonder where this team would been had they had some injury luck. I know they weren’t a playoff team but they could’ve been in the mix for the play in had their best players played more than four paltry games together. That’s crazy.
Sean, I wish you had better numbers of subs by the end of this season. But I want you to know that your stories have been the best of any I've read not just this year, but in a long, long time. Thank you! I always was excited to see your pop up in my email. I hope you do take some time off and enjoy it!! You deserve it. What a tough year this has been, in fact, for those of us with the team since it started (me/my family) these three years (only thankfully in different ways) compared more to the Jailblazer years than any others. I remember so fondly when BRoy and LA came and the very young team jelled. I felt we were awesome then and great coaching and all. BRoy was one of the great leaders of the Blazers and I don't know that this young team will soon compare to that. But we can hope and dream, right? Take care my friend. CS
